I went through a sad time recently. I have always been more of a positive kinda girl. And to be completely honest, I am a firm believer in the fact that God works ALL things together for my good because He has brought life out of mess time and time again. I also believe that processing disappointment and sad moments in our lives is a part of being honest and authentic. And this is what led me back to this precious, vulnerable, fragile and bitter-sweet place of surrender. Letting go.

This set is not a new one. But it's one that reflects very much the place of hope I am in right now. Surrender can appear to be bitter but once experienced, sweetness and peace can truly be embraced.

The beautiful singer/artist on the photographs is Serena. She recently released her new Single that you can listen to here: https://serenadaltonmusic.bandcamp.com/releases

I photographed this set a few years ago for another one of her CD but in so many ways it is even more meaningful to me today with her latest song. I kept the RAW photographs from this older set knowing that one day, I would go back to it. Little did I know that it would be in this very season.

I hope you enjoy it. May it whisper hope to your heart in the same way it has done to mine.

With a heart filled with gratitude and hope,

Flora x
