Melanie got in touch with me a few weeks back saying that she was coming to the South of England for a few days with her fiancé and wondered if I was free to do a couple session for them. I'm so pleased that I could fit them in my already pretty full on diary because honestly, their love for each other is very special.
What I love the most about sessions like these if that they remind us of the things that we forget about. We can become to disconnected because of our busy schedules. It's truly an incredible moment to see couples having fun with each other during these sessions. There are no distractions. It's just them connecting, honouring and loving each other. When looking at the photographs once received, people often say to me: "Wow. It's quite something else to see what we have this way. It makes me want to protect our love even more than ever!"
Hope you enjoy their set as much as I enjoyed photographing them both.
I will be back on here next Friday with a new "love yourself" session. I literally cannot wait to introduce you to Ruth! She's one of a kind! She was brave and did something during the shoot that I have never photographed before! You'll have to come back next week to find out what that was!
Have the best weekend!
With love and hope,
"The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart." -Helen Keller
A little note from Ivan & Melanie:
Flo's photos are not only pictures to be seen but much more... emotions to be felt; Thanks to a wonderful artistic visual beauty.
"Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." Matthew 19:6
"Once upon a time..." our story should definitely start like that. We were two young teenagers when we first met at school. We were not close friends and we did not stay in touch after school. But God decided otherwise and He reunited us at more than 2800km from each other! And 8500 km from our homes! But our God is the God of the impossible! Today I can thank God for having given me a fiancé with whom I can dream and hope with to meet God's goals for our lives, and all around the world! Having a husband (when we marry) with whom you can kneel down before God is among the most important and beautiful blessings God can give to His children.
Lots of love from France xxx
