I know I keep going on and on and on about how sunset sessions are my favourite but I do think that even without explanation, you will be able to see why from the photographs which always talk for themselves.

I thought I'd share the most FAQs that people ask me about these sessions. Hopefully, they will help you decide whether or not this is something that you want to book.

How much does it cost and what does the session include? The sunset session is a Small Package but it can be extended to a bigger package depending on how long the session is for and the amount of photographs you want. See my price list for more details. The Small Package is £85 for a 15 minutes session which takes place right in front of my home (Horsham, West Sussex) on the gorgeous field that you can see on this set. I do ask for payment upon booking to secure the date which is non-refundable. You will be getting a 30 photographs which will be edited in both colour and B&W in my usual filmic style. Your photographs will be delivered 2 weeks after the session via your own online gallery from where you will be to download them in a high resolution format.

What do we wear? My photography work is more about feeling and less about style. I always advise my clients to keep it simple and clean. I like the focus to be on the emotion and connection. Subdued colours, solids, and muted prints work well for that. Muted colours are generally low in saturation. I usually advice creamy/white/light greys colours for the sunset sessions. I’ve found that muted tones look beautiful together. When picking patterns, choose smaller ones that won’t pull attention away when looking at your photographs, and I always advise for only person on the shoot to be wearing pattern. When thinking about texture, choose different ones that will give photos some interest such as lace, tule, denim etc. But please, don't put too much pressure on yourself either. I will always work with what you have.

What about time? We have small children. That's the deciding factor for many families. Time! Obviously, sunset sessions happen right before dark. That will mean that your children will have to stay up longer than usual. Some parents are up for the challenge whilst others opt out. Keep in mind that it's a one exception only and depending on when you are wanting your session, the sunset time will not be the same. Ex: Sunset time in June, July and August is around 9:30/8:30pm. But sunset time in September is around 7pm. Depending on that, you can choose what month to book your session for. Also, I am very flexible. If the evening we booked your shoot for doesn't work for you because your child/children have had a rough day, we will move the session to another evening. There is no pressure. Sunset shoots are worth the wait, I promise you... and once you have got the photographs, you will be so happy and delighted you went for it!

I hope this is helping! Do email me if you want to go for it and/or if you have any questions at all: flowestbrook@gmail.com

With love, always!
